Terms of Service

1. Reading service

CHH Novel provides story discovery, book details, chapter reading, a local profile and library, reading progress, and paid chapter access. Features, catalog availability, and chapter prices may change by version or region.

2. Accounts and devices

You may browse and pay without signing in or providing a phone number. We create a random guest account when needed and keep its account ID, private recovery key, and session token in your browser. Use Save account to copy or download both recovery details before clearing browser data, signing out, or switching devices. Use Restore account to recover the same Coins, membership, and purchased chapters. Anyone with both details can access the account, so keep them private. If you lose your browser data and saved details, we may be unable to restore access.

3. Coins, Membership, and paid chapters

• Coins are a limited, non-transferable digital entitlement used only to unlock eligible CHH Novel chapters. They are not cash, cryptocurrency, or a bank balance.
• The checkout shows the package, Coin amount, bonus Coins, and the price supplied by the payment channel before purchase.
• Browser purchases may use PayPal when production checkout is enabled. A completed provider payment must pass server verification before Coins are credited.
• Membership plans provide access to paid chapters for the selected term. Membership is activated after server verification and may be purchased separately from Coins.
• Browser Membership is a single PayPal payment for the selected 30, 90, or 360 day period, with no automatic renewal. A further purchase extends the existing expiry date. Membership reading does not spend Coins; chapters bought with Coins remain unlocked after Membership expires.
• Chapter unlocks and Coin spending are generally final once digital content is delivered, except where law or the payment provider's rules require otherwise.

4. Refunds and failed purchases

PayPal browser payments are subject to the merchant's published refund process. If payment completes but Coins do not appear, reopen the wallet while online and contact support with the provider order information. Do not send full card or bank credentials.

5. Content and intellectual property

Stories, translations, covers, descriptions, software, and interface materials may be protected by copyright and other rights. Access is licensed for personal reading only. You may not scrape, reproduce, redistribute, sell, bypass access controls, or use the service or content unlawfully. The operator must hold the required distribution rights before making any title publicly available.

6. Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the service, submit fraudulent purchase data, exploit wallet or unlock flows, introduce malicious code, overload the API, impersonate another person, or attempt unauthorized access. We may restrict service access when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights holders, payments, or system integrity.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, network failures, provider outages, catalog changes, or legal requirements may affect access. We may update these terms and will revise the effective date when changes are published.

8. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
